In 2008, Chris was seen LIVE in New York on NBC's Today Show (Weekend Today) with Disco Diva, Evelyn Champagne King and news anchor Pat Battle supporting Evelyn's "Open Book" music release. A year later (2009) Chris also opened up for Evelyn Champagne King and her husband Freddie Fox at the Nile Theater in Bakersfield, California keeping the doors open for the Ricky's Retreat Aids Hospice.
Tian had fun opening up and performed back-up for actor John Amos (Good Times, Coming to America etc..) in Nashville Tenn., at the Limelight Club in June 2009 and later during 2010 Chris performed at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills for the VMA's supporting a foster kids organization called Shining Star Kids of America amongst other celebrity guests.
Chris has done so much over the years that he also performed internationally in Switzerland and Estonia.
During the last 13 years, Tian also found another voice within himself as a host on UrbanMusicBuzz which is an online radio show helping spread the buzz on both major and independent "urban artists" helping make some noise for their music releases.
